MUTUAL DIALOGUE
Psychotherapy that honours your story, relationships, and humanity

Dr Derek Mckenzie
Psychotherapist, Researcher, Public Speaker

I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist working with individuals and couples both online and in person in London.

My work draws on relational and existential psychotherapy, creating a space where people can reflect on life's challenges, relationships, and questions of meaning.

Alongside my clinical work, I engage in research and public scholarship exploring the psychological, cultural, and social dimensions of human experience.

  • Grounded in existential psychotherapy and Africana thought, open to every voice
  • More than coping—reclaming meaning, voice, and being

  • Life transitions and personal change
  • Stress and emotional overwhelm
  • Personal growth and self-understanding
