Couples Counselling

In order to live in peace with your partner, one needs to be willing to face up to the conflicts that have entered the relationship…Couples sometimes need a neutral safe space to begin exploring the way in which they are together and for learning to become more loving towards themselves and each other ( Emmy Van Deurzen 2013).

  • Are you withdrawing from your relationship?
  • Is there a lot of misunderstanding?
  • Do you feel despondent in your relationship?
  • Are you stuck and unhappy and looking for a way forward?

There are many reasons individuals choose to come to couples counselling and sometimes just a few sessions are enough to get their relationship or marriage moving in the right direction again.

“To love another person is to be dedicated to knowing and valuing the other for what they are and can be, allowing them to live as fully and freely as possible, keeping their welfare at heart, as your own, in a full, attentive and uncompromising way”.
(Emmy Van Deurzen, 2013)
